Many stripped of their dignity, lost without purpose, and feeling trapped in their circumstances
In Uganda rural communities 1 CHILD DIES EVERY MINUTE from a diarrheal disease caused by use of contaminated water or poor sanitation. KILOMETRES is the average distance most rural woman walk each day to collect water that’s often teaming with disease-causing bacteria. The journey to collect water can be treacherous and expose women and children girls to injury, assault and animal attacks.

The available water often causes local children and families to suffer from waterborne infections and even death.
